A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MDDT) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) as part of COP29 event taking place in Baku today.

This is the fourth day that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) has been taking place in Baku. The efforts made towards prevention of climate change, the progress achieved are evaluated, and the best solutions are discussed.
According to the agreement, it is planned to establish local production in Azerbaijan by 2030 and gradually increase the localization level to 40%.
The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) kicked off in Baku on 11 November. A delegation led by President of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Salvatore Sciacchitano is taking part in COP29.
