Directions of citizens’ travels to liberated territories by private cars are expanded
Within the framework of the Great Return programme, the directions of travels of Azerbaijani citizens to the territories liberated from occupation are being expanded.
From 20 May 2025, citizens will be able to visit Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Khankendi, Khojaly and Aghdere by private cars on the basis of permits obtained through the portal (www.yolumuzqarabaga.az) Our Way to Garabagh. It should be noted that previously it was possible to obtain permits through the portal to visit only the cities of Shusha, Lachin and Sugovushan settlement.
The permits issued through the portal Our Way to Karabakh will be valid for two days.
Permits can be obtained for a maximum of nine persons, including one driver, per trip in private cars. Private passenger cars are understood as vehicles with registration plates belonging to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and corresponding to category B.
Drivers of private cars should familiarize themselves with travelling rules and mine safety education information through the portal Our Way to Karabakh and inform travellers, and after entering the liberated territories and undergoing appropriate inspections, should not deviate from the route, be careful at crossings and follow the rules throughout the journey.
Citizens can also obtain information on hotels and other accommodation facilities operating at their destinations through the portal Our Way to Karabakh.
