The Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings was established by Order No. 2199 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 13 July 2016 “On additional measures related to increasing the favorable business environment in the Republic of Azerbaijan and further improving the position of our country in international rankings”.
The purpose of establishing the Commission is to create a business environment that will ensure optimal business performance and be based on competitive principles, increase the country’s investment attractiveness, improve business related legislation and governance mechanisms to further improve Azerbaijan’s position in international rankings and take other necessary measures in this regard.
