About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS SYSTEM

Each person can apply to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan through the "Electronic Applications System" and send their proposals, applications and complaints. Applications sent to the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan in electronic form through the official website are registered and reviewed in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, international agreements to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party, Law No. 1308-IVQ of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 30, 2015 "On Citizens' Appeals" and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
