Implementation of DAB+ Digital Radio Broadcasting

By Resolution No. 818s of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated October 7, 2023, the “Action Plan on the Implementation and Development of Digital Radio Broadcasting in the Republic of Azerbaijan” was approved.

As part of this resolution, equipment was installed at the Baku and Aghsu stations, enabling DAB+ broadcasting to cover approximately 25% of the country’s territory and around 40% of its population.

Currently, technical measures are being planned to expand the network further.

It should be noted that DAB+ provides higher-quality broadcasting and multimedia services, while also allowing all radio stations to be received on the same frequency.
