Holberton Azerbaijan School

The Innovation and Digital Development Agency cooperates with Holberton School, a network of prestigious schools around the world,  within the framework of the scholarship programme Technest under the sponsorship of PASHA Holding group of companies.

The Holberton School Network provides ICT education in Silicon Valley through high quality technology programmes based on an innovative and practical methodology. The programme is open to anyone over the age of 18 who wishes to study ICT.

Teaching is based on the peer-to-peer method. This approach allows students to learn in a team environment and effectively master the educational programme with the opportunity to interact with other students.

The selection process takes place online. Thus, those who apply by registering on the relevant website are given tasks consisting of three steps. At the final stage, candidates are interviewed by Holberton representatives. These stages test the candidate’s logical and analytical thinking abilities, and knowledge of computer science and programming is not required. Since the selection process is conducted in English, the candidate must  be proficient in the language. The 60 people who successfully pass these stages are eligible to participate in training and study with a full scholarship.

During the duration of the programme, classes are held face-to-face, every day from 09:00 to 18:00. Having mastered basic computer science skills in the first nine months, students can work as a junior software engineer or enroll in one of the six specialities offered by the programme (Machine Learning, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Low Level and Algorithms, Full stack, Front-end and Back-end programming).
