About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Baku Taxi Service LLC

Baku Taxi Service LLC (Limited Liability Company) was established in accordance with Decision No. 89 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 30 March 2015. The company operates on the basis of a charter under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Baku Taxi Service LLC offers safe and comfortable passenger transportation service at standard fares calculated by taximeter in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, as well as from Heydar Aliyev International Airport to anywhere in the city.
