The E-Government Training and Education Center LLC was established under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies by Resolution No. 389 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated 17 December 2015, with the aim of enhancing ICT proficiency among citizens, public servants, and employees of state institutions, and developing their skills in digital transformation.
By Resolution No. 292 of the Cabinet of Ministers, dated 12 July 2018, the Center was renamed the Information and Communication Technologies Application and Training Center LLC to expand its scope of activities, provide services across a broader range of areas, and further enhance the application of information and communication technologies.
The Center’s main building is in Baku. In addition, a total of 14 regional centers operate across 12 regions of the country, including Khankendi, Ganja, Nakhchivan, Mingachevir, Barda, Lankaran, Zagatala, Imishli, Gabala, Shirvan, Aghdash, and Sheki.
The Center holds international accreditations from Cisco Networking Academy, CompTIA, and Pearson VUE (Authorized Exam Center). It also features an HD multimedia studio, a Cisco Networking Academy laboratory, and modern computer laboratories for Microsoft system administration, graphics, and design.
