Ministry Staff Celebrate Their Professional Day

An event dedicated to December 6 – the Professional Day of Workers in the Field of Communications and Information Technologies was held at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT).

In his remarks, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Javid Gurbanov highlighted the 144-year rich history of communications in Azerbaijan. He also spoke about the new stage of technological development, emphasizing the significant steps taken to enhance the country’s internet infrastructure, improve electronic services, and strengthen information security.

The deputy minister emphasized that the achievements attained are the result of the significant efforts of the employees and congratulated the professionals of the sector.

Afterwards, employees who had been awarded the title of “Master of Communications” and Certificates of Honor by the Ministry on the occasion of the professional holiday and the 144th anniversary of the establishment of telephone communications in our country were presented with their distinctions.
