Minister Rashad Nabiyev Meets with Deputy General Manager of China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd.

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Cai Jianzhou, Deputy General Manager of China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, information was provided on the large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented in Azerbaijan, the country’s transit and logistics capabilities, and particularly its role in the development of the Middle Corridor. The sides also discussed projects related to the development of the Baku Metro, railway and light rail networks, as well as airport infrastructure.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on opportunities to expand cooperation with China Construction Infrastructure Co., Ltd. in major infrastructure and digital projects, in the context of Azerbaijan’s rapid digital infrastructure development and its goals of becoming a regional platform for artificial intelligence, advanced computing capabilities and data centers.
