A session on “Digitalization in Azerbaijan” was held during the opening ceremony of the Regional Acceleration Center of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The new Regional Acceleration Center of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has been established within the framework of strategic cooperation between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the ITU, the United Nations specialized agency for digital technologies.

The total number of transactions conducted through the National Data Exchange System – “digital.bridge”, which enables information exchange between state information systems in Azerbaijan, has surpassed 2 billion. Currently, 80 government bodies and 180 information systems are connected to the platform, which is managed by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.
