State awards presented to award-winning employees of digital development and transport sector

Ceremony of presenting state awards to the workers of the sphere, who were awarded on 2 June – the professional holiday of civil aviation workers and 23 June – the professional holiday of civil servants, by the relevant orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, was held today.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev thanked the President for the attention paid to the employees of the sphere and congratulated the participants of the event on the occasion of the State Sovereignty Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The minister noted that the construction of transport infrastructure and telecommunication network is ongoing, in order to allow citizens to visit the territories liberated from occupation, to ensure the settlement and comfortable living of the population in the region.

Detailed information was provided on the innovations and transformation process of digitalization and transport in the country, as well as future plans. It was emphasized that the labor of each employee contributed to the success achieved.

At the end of the event, Rashad Nabiyev presented state awards to the award-winning persons and wished them new achievements.
