Public Services via MyGov to Be Developed Based on Citizen Feedback
The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) has launched a new approach to the development of the MyGov platform. Within this framework, citizens are no longer merely service users, but also active stakeholders engaged in the co-design of services.
The initiative is being implemented in line with the “Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2028” and aims to shift the focus from service delivery to the design of the citizen experience. Its primary objective is the continuous improvement of services based on real user needs.
Meetings conducted within this approach ensure the integration of citizen feedback into the early-stage design of services. The initiative covers both active users and groups with limited access to or experience of digital services.
The first meeting took place on April 30, 2026, at IDDA, bringing together citizens who had used the power of attorney services available on the MyGov platform.
During the discussions, feedback was gathered on user experience, service accessibility, and interface simplification. Based on the collected feedback and observations, initial decisions were developed to reduce the number of steps required for services, optimize the interface, and make the user process simpler and more intuitive.
Within this framework, MyGov serves as a unified platform for accessing public services and as a key institutional mechanism for ensuring citizen participation. The feedback and data collected will enable the systematic improvement of services based on citizen input and user behavior data.
This initiative expands citizen engagement in digital government processes and supports the development of public services that are more agile, accessible, and user centric.
It should be noted that the MyGov platform provides citizens with digital services such as issuing the power of attorney for vehicle use, issuing the power of attorney for vehicle disposal, and terminating a power of attorney. At the same time, citizens can access power of attorney information through the platform.
