Ministry’s staff visited Khojaly genocide memorial

On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Khojaly genocide, the staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport visited the memorial to the victims of the Khojaly tragedy erected in Khatai district of Baku city.

Having honored the memory of the victims of the tragedy, the staff of the ministry laid flowers at the Khojaly genocide memorial.

It should be noted that the town of Khojaly was occupied on the night of February 25–26, 1992. Armenian occupants committed one of the bloodiest genocides in history against the Azerbaijani people in Khojaly. As a result of this genocide, 613 civilians were killed.

The town of Khojaly was cleared of separatists on 19–20 September 2023 as a result of local anti-terrorist activities carried out by the Azerbaijani Army in Karabakh. The Azerbaijani flag flying in this town once again demonstrates that the blood of the victims of the Khojaly tragedy did not remain unavenged.
