About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry holds event on occasion of professional holiday of civil servants

According to the relevant Decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated 25 May 2006, June 23 is celebrated as a professional holiday for civil servants in our country.

On this occasion, a group of employees was awarded honorary diplomas by order of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

At the event held on this occasion, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Javid Gurbanov congratulated the employees on their professional holiday and wished them success in their activities.

Then the employees who distinguished themselves by their effective performance in the public service were awarded honorary diplomas.

In conclusion, the awardees expressed their gratitude for the appreciation of their performance.
