Minister Rashad Nabiyev shares his experience with second “Yukselish” competition winners

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has held a meeting with the winners of the second “Yukselish” (“Ascent”) competition. Head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism and Religious Affairs of the Presidential Administration, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the “Yukselish” Competition Farah Aliyeva and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Head of the Working Group  of the “Yukselish” Competition Farhad Hajiyev  also took part in the meeting.

 

Minister of Digital Development and Transport congratulated the winners of the second “Yukselish” competition on their achievement in the competition and wished them success in their future activities. He said that the competition was an interesting experience for the mentors and stressed that he was closely following the activities of the winners.

 

The winners of the second “Yukselish” competition, for their part, said they wanted to acquire new knowledge and skills in innovation and technology, and were interested in actively participating in the development of innovation and digitalization.

 

During the meeting, Rashad Nabiyev gave the winners recommendations in the field of management and shared his experiences with them. In conclusion, Rashad Nabiyev, who recommended self-development books to the winners, told them that constant searching is an important skill.

 

Head of the “Yukselish” Competition Working Group Farhad Hajiyev thanked Rashad Nabiyev for his participation and said that such meetings would be held regularly in the future.

 

It should be recalled that the “Yukselish” competition was established by an order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on 26 July 2019 with the aim of identifying promising leaders with high level of intellectual and management skills, supporting them and creating a talent pool bank in the country. It is open to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan aged from 21 to 51 years, with higher education and two years of experience in the field of management. The winners of the competition receive a one-year individual development plan and a prize money of 20,000 AZN each from the managing directors (https://yukselish.az/mentors.html).

 

It should be noted that on 20 December 2022, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed an order to hold the next, third “Yukselish” competition in 2023.
