Minister Rashad Nabiyev meets winners of third “Yukselish” competition
Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has met with Shahin Mahmudzade and Azad Garibov, winners of the third “Yukselish” (“Ascent”) competition, as part of the mentoring programme.
The minister congratulated the winners on their achievement and spoke about the implementation of a one-year individual development plan with the winners of the competition as one of the managing directors of the project. He also exchanged views with the winners on how to improve their professional skills.
In their turn, the winners of the third “Yukselish” competition thanked the minister of digital development and transport for the opportunity and sincere meeting created within the mentoring programme and stated that it was a unique opportunity to benefit from his personal experience.
It should be recalled that the “Yukselish” competition was established by the order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed on 26 July 2019. It is open to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan aged from 21 to 51 years, with higher education and two years of experience in the field of management.
The competition consists of five stages – registration, online selection, live stage, semi-finals and finals. The winners of the competition receive a one-year individual development plan and a self-development grant of AZN 20,000 each from the managing directors.
It should be noted that on 25 December 2023, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed an order to hold the next, fourth “Yukselish” competition.
