Minister Rashad Nabiyev meets winners of second “Yukselish” competition

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has met with Elkiyar Ziyadov and Etibar Huseynov, winners of the second “Yukselish” (“Ascent”) competition as part of the mentoring programme.

 

Rashad Nabiyev, as one of the managing directors of the project, said that he would share his experience based on a one-year personal development plan with the competition winners and help them to unlock their potential. The minister stressed that the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport will create the necessary conditions for the winners to implement the mentoring programme at a high level.

 

In turn, the winners of the second “Yukselish” competition thanked the minister of Digital Development and Transport for the opportunity and sincere meeting created  for them within the mentoring programme and expressed their desire to benefit from his personal experience.

 

It should be recalled that the “Yukselish” competition was established by an order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on 26 July 2019. It is open to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan aged from 21 to 51 years, with higher education and two years of experience in the field of management. The competition consists of five stages – registration, online selection, live stage, semi-finals and finals. The winners of the competition receive a one-year individual development plan and a self-development grant of 20,000 AZN each from the managing directors (https://yukselish.az/mentors.html).

 

It should be noted that on 20 December 2022, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed an order to hold the next, third “Yukselish” competition in 2023.
