Minister Rashad Nabiyev meets Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Territories Development

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in Leipzig.

During the meeting, discussions focused on expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the transport sector, in particular increasing transit opportunities in international road transport and the implementation of digital solutions.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the implementation of an electronic permit system (e-Permit) in international road transport. This initiative is expected to facilitate border crossings, digitalize transport operations, and create a more flexible and efficient operational environment for carriers.
