Meeting of Digital Government Architecture Working Group Held
On October 3, 2025, a meeting of the Digital Government Architecture Working Group was held at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA). The meeting brought together the leadership and members of the Working Group, as well as representatives from various government institutions.
Opening the event, Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Board of IDDA, highlighted the significant role of the “Digital Development Concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” approved by the Presidential Decree of January 16, 2025, signed by President Ilham Aliyev, in shaping the country’s digital future:
“The successful implementation of the Concept requires coordinated efforts among government institutions. Our main goal is to carry out digital transformation in public administration in a systematic manner, improve the quality of public services, and deliver tangible benefits to citizens’ daily lives.”
During the meeting, IDDA representatives gave presentations on the “Data Management Strategy Project” and “Digital Government Architecture: Planned Activities and Expected Outcomes.” The discussions focused on developing a unified national data management framework, ensuring efficient data exchange among government institutions, advancing the Government Cloud and national data centers, and implementing information security standards.
Following the presentations, a Q&A session was held, during which members of the Working Group and other participants shared their views and suggestions.
It should be noted that the activities of the Digital Government Architecture Working Group are aimed at ensuring unified coordination and supporting the development of digital public administration within the framework of the “Digital Development Concept of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
