About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to widen the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Blood Donation Campaign Held at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport

A blood donation campaign was held at the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, with organizational support from the Central Blood Bank. Employees of the Ministry, as well as those of its subordinate bodies, actively participated in the campaign.

Prior to the donation process, prospective donors underwent medical screening, after which blood was collected from eligible individuals. The collected blood will be used to treat patients suffering from thalassemia and other hereditary blood disorders.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport regularly organizes voluntary blood donation campaigns.
