Aztelecom LLC provides Shamakhy with high-speed Internet

Aztelecom LLC has created an opportunity to connect 81 % of existing households and business entities in Shamakhy region to high-speed Internet through GPON technology.

Fibre-optic network has been installed in Yeni Mughanli, Mughanli, Meysari, Gurdtepe, Archiman, Boyuk Khinsli, Angakharan, Galeybughurd, Lalazar, Melikchobanli, Chayli, Madrasa, Sheredil, Sis, Goyler, Charhan, Dagh Baghirli, Yenikend, Avakhil, Guneshli, Garavelli, Demirchi, Sefali, Shirvan, Nuydu, Adnali, Sabirli, Gushchu, Kerkenj, Mirikend and Meljek villages, Shahriyar, Sabir and Yusif Mammadaliyev settlements, and Shamakhy city.

Subscribers use the relevant services, and new connections continue.

With the introduction of the GPON technology, subscribers are offered higher-speed Internet packages (from 30 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s). The packages are as follows:

The cost of services varies from 18 to 54 AZN, depending on the selected tariff and user requirements.

To connect to the service, citizens can call 170 Call Center of Aztelecom LLC, apply to the territorial service department (address: Shamakhy region, Heydar Aliyev 21) or submit an application through the official website of the company.

It should be noted that in 2017–2023, a total of about 2 million households and business entities in Azerbaijan got access to broadband Internet. This represents 66% of existing households and business entities in the country.
