Another Awareness-Raising Training Session Held under the “Cyber Care for Children 2” Project
Within the framework of the “Cyber Care for Children 2” grant project, implemented at the initiative of the KOICA Alumni Association of Azerbaijan (KOAZ), with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MDDT), an awareness-raising training session was held at Social Service Institution No. 3 (Children’s Home).
During the training, children who had lost their parents or were deprived of parental care were informed about online risks, methods of personal data protection, safe use of social media platforms, and basic cyber hygiene rules. In addition, discussions were held on how modern digital skills can be developed to ensure equal opportunities for every child in the digital age.
The interactive session continued with detailed responses to the children’s questions, and at the end of the event, the participants were presented with certificates and special gifts.
It should be noted that the “Cyber Care for Children” project aims to ensure the safety of children with disabilities, as well as those who have lost their parents or are deprived of parental care, in the digital environment, and to raise their awareness of cybersecurity, digital skills, and the protection of personal data when using the internet.
