About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Public Council members held meeting at Azerpost LLC

The members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport have met with Azerpost LLC Board Chairman Afgan Jalilov.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Public Council Siruz Abasbeyli informed about the work carried out recently by the Council and its future plans. It was noted that the aim of the meeting was getting acquainted with the activities of Azerpost LLC and exploring solutions to existing problems.

Azerpost LLC Board Chairman Afgan Jalilov informed members of the Public Council on the innovations being implemented at the enterprise.
