With support of MDDT, 11 young Azerbaijanis received right to study at Russian Transport University
The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) has implemented a project to admit Azerbaijani citizens to the Russian Transport University for 2024–2025 academic year based on the quota allocated by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the project launched in February of this year, an educational scholarship program was announced, applications were accepted, test questions were prepared together with the university and their translation and moderation process was carried out.
A total of 124 people registered for admission. Seventy of them took part in the test. An individual meeting was organized with each of the 46 candidates who passed to the next stage and the final choice was made.
As a result, 11 people were admitted to the faculties of “Technologies of Transport Processes”, “Land Technical and Transport Complexes”, “Operation of Railways” and “Engineering of Transport Construction” of the Russian Transport University. Of the students, 2 started their studies at the specialist’s degree, 5 – bachelor’s degree, 4 – master’s degree.
The ministry also supported the students in processing the paperwork, as well as travelling to Moscow and going through the relevant procedures.
