Video conference held in connection with June 15 – National Salvation Day of Azerbaijani people
The primary territorial party organization of the New Azerbaijan Party of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies held an event in the format of a video conference on the occasion of June 15 – the Day of National Salvation of Azerbaijani People.
The video conference provided detailed information on the events in the socio-political life of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was noted that as a result of the incompetent leadership of the ruling Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) – Musavat duo, the political, military, economic and other spheres of Azerbaijan were in chaos, and the events took place in Ganja practically brought the country to the brink of civil war. In such a circumstance, at the insistence of the people, the then Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Heydar Aliyev arrived in Baku. Heydar Aliyev, who had extensive experience in the field of public administration, analyzed the events and immediately went to Ganja, despite the great risks to his life. This genius, with his wisdom, foresight and phenomenal policies, prevented a fratricidal massacre and saved the country from the whirlpool of political chaos.
The speakers noted that at those difficult times – on June 15, Heydar Aliyev was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The past period has shown that June 15 was a turning point in the history of independent Azerbaijan. It was after this date that a new period began in the life of our country. Thanks to the measures taken under the leadership of the Great Leader, including the preservation of state independence, military building, the creation of modern mechanisms and institutions of public administration, the preparation and adoption of the constitution of our state, the formation of a new Parliament, the achievement of a ceasefire in the military conflict, radical reforms in the economic sphere, projects implemented in international relations, the Republic of Azerbaijan was established as an independent, democratic, modern state recognized by the entire world community.
At the end of the event, it was noted that our state, which has maintained and strengthened its independence since June 15, 1993, thanks to the exceptional services of national leader Heydar Aliyev, has become a modern country, which is becoming stronger day by day as a result of the wise and purposeful policy pursued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
