Trainings for employees of government bodies on organizing activities on social media come to an end
The Information and Communication Technologies Applying & Training Center (IKT LAB) of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport held a series of trainings in April and May to increase the practical knowledge of public relations officers of government bodies in the field of social media. A total of 80 people participated in the trainings on “Organizing effective activities of government bodies on social media”.
The training covered such topics as the importance of social networks for organizations, profile view of pages, content and activity management, how social platforms work and how to use algorithms correctly, communicating with citizens, fighting against disinformation and information security.
During the trainings, practical exercises and discussions were held, and there was an exchange of experience and ideas between the participants. Presentations were made on the effective use of social networks by government bodies.
Upon completion of trainings, the participants were awarded certificates from IKT LAB Applying & Training Center.
It should be noted that the Information and Communication Technologies Applying & Training Center (IKT LAB) was established under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport in 2015 by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers with the view to improving digital skills and IT knowledge of public and private sector employees, as well as the public.
