About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Within the framework of the Year of Heydar Aliyev, the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Transport, Communications and High Technology Workers organized a march to “Heydar Peak”.

Employees of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and its subordinate agencies took part in the march to “Heydar Peak”.

An awarding ceremony was held at the ministry for participants of the march.

Employees who marched to “Heydar Peak”, named after the national leader, were presented with certificates.
