About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Staff of Ministry of Digital Development & Transport visited national leader Heydar Aliyev’s grave

December 12 is the Remembrance Day of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev.

In this regard, the staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honors.

They honored the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath and flowers at his grave.

On the Remembrance Day, our people once again demonstrate their great respect for the great leader. This is the manifestation of people’s sincere feelings for their savior.
