Roundtable held in Vienna with participation of Austrian and Azerbaijani business circles

A roundtable with the participation of business circles of both countries was held in Vienna within the 11th Session of the Joint Commission on Economic, Agricultural, Industrial, Technical and Technological Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Austria.
The roundtable, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the Austrian Economic Chamber (WKO), with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Austria, was attended by representatives of more than 20 companies.
Samir Mammadov, co-chair of the Commission from Azerbaijani side, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, spoke at the forum, emphasizing confidence that such events will create new opportunities for expanding economic relations and mutual investments between the two countries.
As part of the roundtable, sessions were conducted on the topics of “Investment Opportunities in Azerbaijan,” “Development of Transport Infrastructure in Azerbaijan,” and “Mining.”
During the event, information was provided about the concessions applied in the Alat Free Economic Zone, as well as in other industrial and technology parks of Azerbaijan, and Austrian companies were invited to consider investment opportunities in our country.
Austrian companies participating in the roundtable were invited to attend the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, to be held in Baku on June 27–28 of this year.
The event continued with meetings in B2B and B2G formats.
