Responsible officials from MDDT and AZCON Holding met with ACC students

On October 3, 2025, the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center (ACC) hosted a meeting with responsible officials of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) and the Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding (AZCON).

The event was attended by nearly 35 guests, including heads of human resources departments and officials responsible for information security and cybersecurity from both organizations.

At the event, Renat Rustamov, Head of MDDT’s Human Resources Management Department, and Shahmar Hajiyehyayev, IDDA’s Head of Information Security Department, delivered the opening remarks.

In the next part of the event, Ilkin Azizov, IDDA’s Deputy Head of the Information Security Department, delivered a comprehensive presentation on ACC’s infrastructure. The meeting concluded in an interactive format, during which participants’ questions were addressed.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to familiarize attendees with the activities of ACC and to provide an overview of the current status of its students and graduates.

It should be noted that so far, 380 students have graduated from the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, which was jointly established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), and Israel’s Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Currently, 60 students from the sixth cohort are continuing their studies.

During their studies, students are trained by international experts in defense (Blue Team), attack (Red Team), and combined (Purple Team) groups, acquiring hands-on knowledge of the latest strategies, technologies, and innovations in the field of cybersecurity.
