Registration Opens for the New Training Program at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center
The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, jointly established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, has launched registration for a new wave of training courses.
For the first time, the Center is offering a unique opportunity within this training wave. The top five graduates who successfully complete the program will have the chance to participate in a one-month internship program at leading international companies, allowing them to apply their skills in a real-world work environment.
Azerbaijani citizens aged 17 and older with English proficiency and basic ICT skills are eligible to apply for the training program. Registered candidates will go through a multi-stage selection process, including an exam and an interview. During the exam, which will be conducted by Israeli specialists, applicants will be assessed on their logical and analytical thinking abilities, ICT knowledge and skills, and English proficiency level. Candidates who successfully pass the interview stage will be among the 60 participants selected to join the training program on a fully funded basis. Only those achieving the highest scores at each stage will advance to the next stage.
Participants admitted to the program will receive training from the academic staff of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, based on the institute’s teaching methodology. The program combines both theoretical and practical knowledge. The training program will last for six months, consisting of classes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by practical sessions from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
As part of the program, two specialized groups — the “Red Team” (offensive) and the “Blue Team” (defensive) — will be formed to train cybersecurity professionals. During the training period, the teams will engage in simulations to further develop their skills. Those who successfully complete the program will receive an official certificate from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

The deadline for registration is December 1, 2025.
To date, nearly 300 participants have graduated from the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center’s training program, while 60 more are currently continuing their education in this field. The Center also implements various initiatives to enhance employment opportunities for its graduates, with the latest two waves achieving an employment rate of 80%. In addition to training specialized professionals, the Center also focuses on integrating cybersecurity education into higher education institutions, promoting cyber awareness, offering professional development programs for cybersecurity experts, conducting research in the field, and supporting the development of local cybersecurity solutions.
