About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ramin Guluzade met with Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine

Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade met with Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krikli, who is on a visit to our country.

During the meeting, the existing cooperation, prospects for further development and work to be done in the field of transport were discussed in detail.

At the same time, the importance of taking joint steps to effectively organize and increase the volume of international freight traffic between Azerbaijan and Ukraine was emphasized.
