Radio & TV broadcasting also provided in Khankendi
During a regular meeting held in the city of Yevlakh on 29 September with representatives of Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, the broadcasting situation in the region was studied in order to grant their requests for organization of radio and television broadcasting.
Thus, as a result of the radio monitoring conducted, reception of seven radio and nine television programmes of Azerbaijan through the Shusha Radio and Television Station as well as FM radio on 101.1, 103.5 and 97.7 MHz and digital television broadcasting on 674 MHz broadcast in Armenian and Russian languages to educate the Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region and to convey the calls of the Azerbaijani State to them was observed in many areas of the Karabakh region, including Khankendi.
However, additional measures will be taken to further expand the quality and scope of radio and television broadcasting in the Karabakh region.
