Over 2,600 schoolchildren took part in classes on safe Internet at secondary schools

Secondary school teachers, who participated in the training conducted in February in connection with the International Safer Internet Day by the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, have organized open lessons for schoolchildren.

Open lessons were held at secondary schools in Baku, Shamakhy, Gabala, Mingachevir, Zagatala and Shaki. The Electronic Security Service provided 70 computer science teachers with training materials in advance.

More than 2,600 students in grades 6 – 11 took part in the open lessons. They were informed about malicious information, existing cyber threats and the basic rules of cyber hygiene to create a safe Internet environment.

It should be noted that the Electronic Security Service always pays attention to the safe use of the Internet by children. Since 2013, the organization has been regularly carrying out awareness-raising activities in this field.
