Official opening of TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace & Technology Festival held

The official opening ceremony of TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace & Technology Festival took place.

The festival will be held for the first time in Baku on 26 – 29 May this year, jointly organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey.

The opening ceremony was addressed by Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev, Chairman of the Board of TEKNOFEST and the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation Selcuk Bayraktar, and Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Mustafa Varank.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev welcomed the Turkish delegation and all participants.

It was noted that TEKNOFEST is being held in Azerbaijan for the first time outside of Turkey: “This event is yet another demonstration of the bonds of friendship, brotherhood and strategic alliance between our countries. Also, it is a message for Azerbaijan and Turkey to step into the future together”.

It was emphasized that the strategic document “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development”, approved by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 2 February 2021, reflects the creation of a modern innovative space.

Holding the TEKNOFEST festival in Azerbaijan expands the horizons of innovation even further. The festival offers young people a new platform, a platform to test themselves and make their dreams come true.
