About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry’s staff visited Second Alley of Honour on the occasion of Victory Day

The staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport visited the Second Alley of Honour on the occasion of November 8 – Victory Day.

Flowers were laid at the graves of our martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of our country, and their memory was honored with respect.

It should be noted that 210 employees of the ministry took part in the Patriotic War, five of them fought heroically against the enemy and reached the peak of martyrdom. In addition, we have employees who lost family members in the war.
