About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to widen the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry Staff Visited Victory Park on Remembrance Day

The staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport visited Victory Park on September 27 – Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

With deep respect, they honored the cherished memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, laying flowers at the Victory Monument.
