About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to widen the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry Staff Visit Victory Park on Remembrance Day

The staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport visited Victory Park on 27 September, Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The cherished memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan was honoured with deep respect, and flowers were laid at the Victory Monument.

It should be noted that Remembrance Day was established by Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 2 December 2020 as a tribute to the soldiers and officers who fought heroically in the Patriotic War, raised the Azerbaijani flag in the territories liberated from occupation, and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as to all our martyrs.
