About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry staff celebrated Remembrance Day

On the occasion of 27 September, the Day of Remembrance in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has visited Victory Park.

Flowers were laid on the graves of all our martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of our country, and their memory was honored with a sense of deep respect.

It should be noted that the Remembrance Day, established by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 2 December 2020, is an expression of deep respect to the memory of all martyrs who fought heroically in the Patriotic War and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country.
