Ministry officials visit grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Alley of Martyrs on occasion of professional holiday

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 2, 2006, December 6 is celebrated as a professional holiday of workers in the field of communications and information technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan. This year marks the 140th anniversary of the establishment of telephone communications in Azerbaijan.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport visited the Alley of Honor, where they honored the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at his grave.

The memory of outstanding scientist-ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also honored and flowers were laid at her grave.

During the visit to the Alley of Martyrs, they honored the blessed memory of the heroes who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid flowers at their graves.
