About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies sends holiday gifts to martyr families

Organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies on the initiative of the Public Union “Zafar”: Support for Martyrs’ Families, holiday gifts were distributed to the families of martyrs on the occasion of Novruz holiday.

Gifts were given to 86 families living in Baku and the regions by employees of Azerpost LLC.

The employees congratulated the families of martyrs on the holiday and wished them all the best.

Family members of martyrs expressed gratitude for the attention shown to them.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies regularly carries out various socially-oriented campaigns and supports projects of this sort.
