About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Ministry of Digital Development & Transport holds blood donation campaign in connection with Victory Day

On the eve of the second anniversary of Azerbaijan’s victory in the Patriotic War, a blood donation campaign was held on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, with the organizational support of Aztelecom LLC and the Central Blood Bank.

The campaign was organized as a sign of respect to the memory of martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

After examining the donors, the mobile task force of the Central Blood Bank took blood from those whose medical parameters were normal.

As part of the campaign, about 130 employees of the ministry and its subordinate agencies donated blood.

The collected blood supply will be tested and used to treat people suffering from blood diseases.
