Ministry of Digital Development and Transport Holds Meeting with Romanian President’s Adviser
Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov met with Marius-Gabriel Lazurca, Adviser to the President of Romania on Foreign Policy and National Security.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the two countries in the areas of international transport corridors, transit transport and digitalization.
Deputy Minister Samir Mammadov provided information on the efforts underway to develop the Middle Corridor and establish the Zangezur Corridor.
It was noted during the meeting that the diversification of the Middle Corridor routes remains one of the key priorities on the agenda. In this regard, the importance of the draft Agreement between the Governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Turkmenistan on the establishment and operation of the Black Sea–Caspian Sea International Transport Route was highlighted.
