About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev visited martyr and war veteran families in Sabirabad

As part of his visit to Sabirabad region in connection with the reception of citizens, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev visited the martyr and war veteran families.

The Minister met with family members of martyr Asim Aliyev. At the meeting, they talked about memories of the martyr and his bravery in the Patriotic War.

Rashad Nabiyev also visited the house of war veteran Tural Gahramanov.

The Minister took a close interest in the concerns of martyr and war veteran families.

Both families were presented with gifts on behalf of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
