About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Naftalan on April 11

The date of reception of citizens (citizens from Goranboy, Khojaly, Goygol, Samukh, Yevlakh regions, as well as Ganja, Mingachevir and Naftalan cities) in Naftalan city, scheduled for April by Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, has been determined.

Rashad Nabiyev will receive citizens at Heydar Aliyev Center in Naftalan city on April 11, 2023 at 10:00.
