About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to increase the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to receive citizens in Imishli

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev will receive citizens from Sabirabad, Saatly, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Khojavand and Imishli regions at Heydar Aliyev Center in the city of Imishli on 8 February 2023 at 10:00.

The reception will take place in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions by heads of central executive authorities and other government bodies in February 2023.

The minister will listen to citizens on issues of interest to them regarding the provision of transport, telecommunications, including Internet, TV & radio broadcasting and postal services in the abovementioned regions.
