About Ministry

Based on Decree No.1464 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 11 October 2021, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. The aim was to widen the implementation of digitalization and innovation in the country, develop radio spectrum management, communication and information technologies, improve regulatory mechanisms and create a healthy competitive environment.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is the central executive authority implementing state policy and regulation in the fields of transport (except for cases determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan), including maritime transport and civil aviation, communications (telecommunications and post), e-government, high technologies (information technologies, microelectronics, nano, bio and other innovative science-intensive technologies)
The ministry implements state policy and regulation in the fields of transport, communications, e-government and high technologies.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev to Meet with Citizens in Zangilan

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev will hold a public reception for residents of the Zangilan, Jabrayil, and Gubadli districts on 6 August 2026 at 10:00 in Aghali village, Zangilan District.

The Minister will meet with citizens to hear their views and concerns on issues related to transport and telecommunications services, including internet, television and radio broadcasting, and postal services in these regions.

Residents wishing to attend the reception may register by 5 August 2026 through the official website of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Call Center (1655), by email at office@mincom.gov.az, or by phone at 010 250 48 48 or 012 598 58 58 (extensions 222 and 290).

The reception will be held in accordance with the August schedule of citizen receptions by heads of central executive authorities and other government bodies in cities and districts.
