Minister Rashad Nabiyev on visit to Pakistan
Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has paid a visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the visit, the minister visited the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan, laid flowers at it, paid tribute to his memory.
Then Minister Rashad Nabiyev met with Pakistan’s Minister of Commerce Syed Naveed Gamar and Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque.
At the bilateral meetings, they discussed the development of trade relations between the countries, cooperation in the field of information technologies and telecommunications.
Rashad Nabiyev provided information on cybersecurity in our country, increasing the population’s access to high-speed broadband Internet, projects implemented in the direction of digital transformation.
During the meetings, confidence was expressed that the relations and exchange of experience between the two countries in the field of trade and ICT will continue to develop.
Then Rashad Nabiyev met with the heads of Pakistan’s leading IT companies. Discussions were held on privileges, opportunities and advantages created for these companies to operate in Azerbaijan.
The meetings also touched upon measures implemented to promote information exchange between the countries and the establishment of new business relations.
