Minister Rashad Nabiyev met with President of World Economic Forum Borge Brende

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has met with President of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende, who is on a visit to our country.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on current issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Economic Forum, stressing that our country attaches particular importance to relations with the Forum.

It was noted that the establishment of the Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution as part of this cooperation will play an important role in diversifying the country’s economy and attracting investment.

The meeting discussed issues of digital transformation, innovations and cyber security. They exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation.

Emphasizing that digital transformation is a priority for the Government of Azerbaijan, the guests were informed of the measures taken by the Ministry in this direction.
